The Growers
South Africa
Our flower seeds currently come from small-scale growers based in poor communities within the Cape region. The areas we work in are remote and suffer from high unemloyment, but do have a rich and diverse floral biodiversity. This combination gives our products a unique link with both fair trade and wildflower conservation.
In addition to working directly with the growers, we also have close links with other organisations supporting them. These include local non-governmental groups and the South African National Biodiversity Institute.
